Laborers' Union President Terence O'Sullivan to Speak at Labor Unity Rally During the Democratic Convention

DENVER--(Business Wire)--
Terence M. O'Sullivan, General President of LIUNA -- the Laborers'
International Union of North America - will join labor leaders from
Change to Win and the AFL-CIO for a Labor Unity Rally on Sunday,
August 24th, during the Democratic Convention in Denver. O'Sullivan, a
powerful speaker on behalf of working people and an up-and-coming
leader in the labor movement, will talk about the importance of
electing Senator Barack Obama -- a "build America candidate" who will
fight to create jobs and stimulate our economy by taking care of
America's basic infrastructure and who will stand up for employee
freedoms at the workplace by signing the Employee Free Choice Act.

LIUNA is the most progressive, aggressive and fastest growing
union of construction workers who build America. LIUNA's Build America
so America Works campaign is an intensive and sustained effort to
redirect America's priorities and resources to taking care of our
country's basic infrastructure that working people rely on every day.
LIUNA's effort takes a unique approach to the issue of infrastructure
investment by focusing on the opportunities for economic growth and
job creation that come with a commitment to build America and the
human cost of failing to do so.
