bigblueroad Creates bmi Online Trade Promotion and Redesigns Trade Web Site

Mon Nov 2, 2009 11:06am EST
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- bigblueroad.com, Discover the World
Marketing's new online travel marketing and promotion division, recently
developed an exciting travel agent online promotion for bmi after it
redesigned its US travel agent web site.

"This is another example of implementing a successful online marketing
campaign developed by bigblueroad," said Ian Murray, Senior Director Marketing
& Product Development for Discover the World Marketing. "Using special events,
such as celebrating its latest transatlantic code share agreement with Virgin
Atlantic for bmi, we are able to build awareness of its services at a fraction
of the cost of advertising."

bigblueroad created a travel agent promotion for this bmi event called Crack
the Code. The promotion came on the heels of bigblueroad redesigning bmi's US
travel agent web site (www.flybmi-agent.com) to make it the best place to find
flight, schedule and ticketing information, GDS help and the latest bmi news,
prices and offers.

Travel agents, who book bmi code share flights operated by Virgin Atlantic
with a connecting bmi flight through December 15, 2009 are eligible to win one
of three pairs of tickets to Amsterdam, Dubai, Edinburgh, Cairo, Amman or Tel
Aviv from either Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco or
Washington Dulles in the Crack the Code promotion. To sweeten the deal,
agents also have the opportunity to win a weekly $50 Visa gift card by playing
the Crack the Code online game, referring a co-worker, signing up for emails
or registering a ticket.
