EDGE Medical Devices Appoints Rick Sbordone and Guy Ohad to Lead Global Sales

EDGE Medical Devices, the developer and manufacturer of Plasma DR flat-panel
detector technology, today announced the appointments of Rick Sbordone as Vice
President of North American Sales and Dr. Guy Ohad as Vice President of
International Sales. These appointments will enable EDGE to address the
underserved market for affordable, high-quality digital radiography equipment.
Sbordone and Ohad will develop worldwide distribution partnerships with VARs,
Integrators and OEMs for the company`s new Quix detector and Universal Retrofit
Kit. 

Mr. Sbordone joins EDGE with more than 25 years of experience in the medical
technology industry, with companies such as Philips Healthcare, Imaging Dynamics
Company and Swissray America. In his position at EDGE, Mr. Sbordone will develop
channel partners and build market share throughout North America for EDGE`s
expanding digital radiography product line. 

Dr. Ohad has more than 15 years of experience in the medical device industry and
is a professionally trained radiologist. He joins EDGE from Orex Computed
Radiography, a division of Carestream Health, Inc., where he managed
distribution and held various senior-level positions, achieving market-share
leadership. Dr. Ohad brings sales, technical, clinical and industry expertise to
the job of developing an international channel and expanding the global account
base for EDGE DR solutions.
