DUBLIN, Ireland--(Business Wire)--
Research and Markets
(http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c91326) has announced the
addition of China Sugar Industry Report, 2007-2008 to their offering.

By March, 2008, China's sugar output has reached 12.52 million
tons in sugar processing seasons in 2007/2008, up 17.9% on year, or
increasing by 1.90 million tons compared with the same period of
2006/2007. Among the total output, cane sugar output has reached 11.37
million tons, up 21.3% on year, or increasing by 1.99 million tons and
beet sugar output has come to 1.15 million tons, down 7.7% on year, or
decreasing by 96,000 tons.

In terms of region, sugar production has the tendency of moving
from north to south, from coastal areas to inland areas, from
developed area to less developed area. Sugar output in Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region and Yunnan province in sugar processing seasons of
2007/2008 accounted for 75% of the total in China.

A great growth in sugar output in 2007/2008 has made the storage
capacity of domestic sugar producers very limited.

A great deal of working capital held by a full inventory and state
tightening credit policy have put the sugar producers under financial
pressure. Therefore, it has become imperative that sugar producers
should pick up the pace of sugar sales.

Based on the authorized statistics from National Bureau of
Statistics, China Sugar Association, Zhengzhou Futures Exchange etc.,
this report analyses and forecasts status quo, industry policy, supply
and demand, industry competition, regional development and key
companies of China's sugar industry.
