In a meeting, attended by over 300 local agents, RE/MAX Properties and RE/MAX
Gulfstream Realty jointly announced their plans to merge. The merger was
commemorated by the presence of RE/MAX co-founder Dave Liniger and RE/MAX
International CEO Margaret Kelly, both of Denver, Colorado. The union will
create Florida's largest RE/MAX office with combined sales transactions of 3,280
in 2007 . The new company will be named RE/MAX Alliance Group.
The two companies combined have a solid history of serving Florida's
southwest
coast for almost 20 years. RE/MAX Properties was initially founded in 1989 by
Tim
and Judy Crowley. RE/MAX Gulfstream Realty began in 1992 by David Coupland
and Ron Travis. Both companies have been recognized by RE/MAX International with
several prestigious awards.
