Rocket Software Announces Availability of Rocket IMS Year 2000 Exit Tool

Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com), a Boston-based developer of Enterprise
Infrastructure products, today announced the general availability of Rocket IMS
Year 2000 Exit Tool. This product was first introduced in 1997 and is still
being used today by companies in a number of industries. 

The Rocket IMS Year 2000 Exit Tool provides a solution for dealing with
two-digit years in sequence fields without requiring users to change their
application programs. The latest version includes a conversion exit routine that
works with the IMS Data Conversion User Exit (DFSDBUX1). Benefits include:

- It automatically converts dates in sequence fields in IMS databases
