Snoop Dogg to Present Cutters Achievement Awards to Snoop Youth Football
League Players
Awards to be presented at All-Conference Games on December 2nd

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Cutters Gloves will award the 2nd
Annual 'It's In Your Hands' Achievement Awards to football players and
cheerleaders of the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL). The awards will be
presented by Snoop Dogg at the SYFL's All-Conference Championship Games held
at the Home Depot in Carson, CA on December 2, 2007. Four Grand Prize Winners
will win laptop computers, and the runners-up will receive gift bags.
Each year, SYFL members are honored by Cutters Gloves with an Achievement
Award based on academic progress, sportsmanship, and character. This year,
SYFL players and cheerleaders submitted essays describing how their
participation in the League has helped their daily lives. The focus is on the
benefits of the League beyond football and cheer -- fostering friendships,
enhancing problem solving, and working as a team. This is in line with Snoop
Dogg's broad vision for the League, and with Cutters' commitment to supporting
youth programming.
As Snoop Dogg commented, "We couldn't do this without people like
[Cutters] who believe in the Snoop Youth Football League. It's easy for a kid
to join a gang -- we need to make it easier to play football. The SYFL is on
to something so fresh and productive for our youth, and we are also all about
helping the boys and girls off the field. We thank Cutters for being a part of
it. Cutters gloves are for real!"
Cutters Gloves is a sponsor and Official Glove of the Snoop Youth Football
League (SYFL) and the Snooper Bowl. The SYFL, comprised of 60 football teams
and cheer squads for boys and girls ages 7-13, was founded in 2004 by platinum
recording artist Snoop Dogg as a way to make football and cheer more
accessible to kids. Founded in 1997, Cutters is a market leader in high
performance sports gloves for football, baseball and golf, worn by elite
players throughout the world -- www.cuttersgloves.com.
