IMG Named Exclusive North American Licensor for 'Chicken Soup for the Soul'

today announced it has been selected as the exclusive North American
consumer product and brand licensor for the internationally known,
multi-billion dollar "Chicken Soup for the Soul" brand.

    Originally launched in 1993, "Chicken Soup for the Soul" began as a series
of books featuring a collection of short, inspirational stories and
motivational essays compiled by well-known speakers Jack Canfield and Mark
Victor Hansen.

    In 15 years, the franchise has made international publishing history with
more than 112 million books sold and almost 200 different titles currently
in print. The books have been translated into more than 40 languages. In
2007, USA Today named "Chicken Soup for the Soul" one of the top five most
memorable and impactful books in the last quarter century. In 2008,

in the history of publishing.
