Exploring Analytics in Healthcare, Web 3.0 and Social Networking
SDSIC 2009 conference features keynote from Wayne Peacock, former vice
president of Netflix, and presenters from IBM, Intuit, Microsoft and more

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The San Diego Software Industry Council
(SDSIC) will present its third annual "Forum on Analytics" conference on
Thursday, November 12 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Del Mar Marriott. Wayne
Peacock, former vice president of Business Intelligence, Netflix, and founder
and principal consultant, Inevit, will give the keynote address "Business
Intelligence and the Netflix Story."

The conference will highlight analytics, one of the fastest growing segments
in the software industry, by presenting new career and revenue opportunities,
networking, and panel discussions for investors, software developers, software
executives, marketing professionals, and job seekers. Speakers include
executives from IBM, Intuit, Microsoft, Accelrys, Illumina, ID Analytics,
Covario and Newsforce.

The conference will also feature three panels:

    --  Opportunities in Analytics: The Pay Off in New Businesses and Jobs
    --  Mining Biodata: The Next Generation of Biomedical Research

    --  Web 3.0: Social Networking, Analytics and Beyond
