Chartis today announced the formation of a marketing alliance between its Global
Marine and Energy Division and PowerGuardTM Specialty Insurance Services. The
alliance will leverage Global Marine and Energy`s leadership in the renewable
energy sector worldwide - including underwriting, loss control and claims
expertise for property, cargo and casualty coverages - with PowerGuard`s
warranty product underwriting expertise to offer solutions for the entire value
chain within the wind and solar segments.
The alliance can provide $400 million in property capacity as well as
comprehensive multi-line insurance solutions for OEMs, project developers and
power generation operators.
