Ning Makes It Easier Than Ever to Build and Monetize Successful Social Networks With Two New Partnerships

4 Min Read

Ning (www.ning.com), the leading platform for creating your own social
network, today announced two partnerships -- CafePress and Heyzap --
focused on bringing fresh, new monetization options to Network Creators.
CafePress shops can now be integrated directly into Ning Networks,
offering custom branded products to members and fans. In teaming up with
Heyzap, Ning brings social and casual gaming to its arsenal of features,
keeping members engaged and entertained while bringing high eCPM revenue
opportunities to Network Creators. These new features will integrate
seamlessly into each Ning Network's custom look and feel, and be
implemented with Ning's signature easy-to-use approach.

The new CafePress and Heyzap offerings, along with Ning's own
click-to-donate feature and a Chipin widget for fundraising, join Ning's
Run Your Own Ads solution in a full suite of revenue generating options
available to Network Creators. These features, combined with the upcoming
launch of Ning Mini, Ning Plus and Ning Pro, provide new ways for Network
Creators to build thriving communities and monetize their Ning Networks.

-- Click to Donate: Ning offers its own product and a widget from Chipin
for Network Creators to easily raise funds and collect and track
    donations from members

-- Online Shops: Through CafePress, Ning Network Creators can create
custom online shops to sell branded merchandise and earn revenue for
    their networks

-- Social Gaming: Network Creators can add Heyzap pay-to-play games onto
their networks, adding unique engagement features, virality and
    revenue generation

-- Advertising: With Ning's Run Your Own Ads feature, Network Creators
have earned significant revenue through exclusive sponsorships, custom
ad deals or high-volume ad network integration

"Veloist sells branded merchandise through its CafePress shop,
driving revenue for the network and growing awareness of our cycling
community," said Mike Valenti, Network Creator, veloist.com. "This move
to more easily integrate a shop will make it even easier for Network
Creators to earn revenue and sell products on their networks."

Network Creators can access these offers today by visiting

launch July 20, 2010.

"Making it easy for Network Creators to turn their Ning Network into a
thriving channel for generating revenue, funding their cause, or
amplifying their brand is a key part of our strategy," said Jason
Rosenthal, CEO, Ning. "We're committed to making Ning the platform of
choice for Network Creators, and these seamless and elegant solutions
