to say `Thank You`

WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--
Tomorrow patrons heading to 60 large and small businesses around the country
will be pleasantly surprised when they approach the entrance. Volunteer
Ambassadors representing a Secretary of the Army program called U.S. Army
Freedom Team Salute, will invite patrons to choose a Thanksgiving `Thank You`
card and provide the opportunity to write a personal message to a deployed U.S.
Soldier. Additionally, patrons will be encouraged to nominate an Army Veteran to
receive a U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute commendation thanking them for their
service.

The initiative, nationally recognized as "Make a Difference Day," was started by
USA WEEKEND Magazine and has been utilized by U.S. Army Freedom Team Saluteas a
way to get the community engaged with Soldiers overseas.

"This is the second year that U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute has participated in
`Make a Difference Day` and we want to collect as many cards as possible to send
to our service members who won`t be home for Thanksgiving," explained Colonel
David Griffith, Director of U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute. "We will also be
encouraging patrons to thank an Army Veteran by nominating an individual to
receive a U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute Commendation."

Marcia Bullard, President and CEO of USA WEEKEND Magazine explains, "USA WEEKEND
created `Make a Difference Day` 19 years ago and it is now the largest day of
volunteering in the nation. Reaching out to our military on `Make a Difference
Day` is really important because our military makes an enormous sacrifice for
our country."

U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute initiative to collect Thanksgiving `Thank You`
cards written by supporters will be for one day only - tomorrow, Saturday
October 24.

U.S. Army Freedom Team Salutewas established in 2005 by the Secretary of the
Army and the Army Chief of Staff to give the public the opportunity to thank all
U.S. Army Veterans for their service by recognizing them with Commendations. The
program also honors and recognizes the Parents, Spouses, Employers, and
