John Edwards has had a long and respected career in law and politics.
Prior to being elected a North Carolina Senator, Edwards was dedicated to his
legal profession position for twenty years. In 1998, Edwards was elected to
the Senate and became a member of the Select Committee on Intelligence.
Edwards also ran for President in the 2004 election and after the Democratic
primaries, Senator John Kerry chose Senator Edwards to serve as his running
mate in the 2004 general election.
Bill Bradley is an Olympian, NBA champion, 2000 Democratic Nominee for
