Undiluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for Finsbury Growth &
Income Trust PLC at the close of business on 5 November 2009 was 241.29p (ex
income) 241.42p (cum income).

Fully Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the reissue of all of the
1,750,750 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market share
price on 5 November 2009 was 241.07p (ex income) 241.20p (cum income).
