The Miami-born Derulo is the first artist signed to Warner Bros. Records` new
joint venture with multi-platinum songwriter and producer J.R. Rotem`s record
label Beluga Heights. Beluga Heights is responsible for launching the career of
multi-platinum pop star Sean Kingston. Derulo is Beluga Heights` highly
anticipated new artist and has written songs for Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston,
Pitbull, Diddy and Danity Kane, and has shared stages with T-Pain, Akon, and
Mims. "Jason Derulo is beyond the real deal. He is an electrifying new artist
that combines an innovative voice, hit songwriting, dancing, hard-work and a
humble work ethic. There's no limit to what he can accomplish. I think he raises
the bar for all new artists," J.R. Rotem says.

Derulo`s debut album will be solely produced by Rotem, who has produced
multi-platinum hits for Sean Kingston (Beautiful Girls, Take You There), Rihanna
(S.O.S.), Leona Lewis (Better In Time), Rick Ross (The Boss), and Plies (Bust it
Baby), just to name a few. The currently untitled album is slated to release
first quarter of 2010 and will feature a new genre where Pop, Euro Dance and
remarkable songwriting all combine into a refreshing and versatile new sound.
Derulo will also be showcasing his acting abilities for the first time on the
silver screen, making his feature film debut in the 2010 release of MTV Films'
"Turn The Beat Around." With an album and film on the way, Derulo is destined to
make his mark for 2010.
