Digit Wireless Appoints Robert Blumenthal as Chief Executive Officer

Digit Wireless Also Receives $4 Million in Additional Funding from
Current Investors for Market and Geographic Expansion
BARCELONA, Spain--(Business Wire)--
Digit Wireless, Inc., (www.digitwireless.com), the innovators of
Fastap(TM) Enabling Keypad Technology, today announced Robert
Blumenthal has been selected to serve as chief executive officer.
Furthermore, the company is announcing it has secured an additional $4
million in funding from current investors, led by Venrock Partners and
Qualcomm. The appointment of Blumenthal coupled with the new funding
equips Digit Wireless to continue research & development and
globalization of the company's multiple interface innovations, such as
Fastap, within the mobile industry and to pursue alternative business
markets including broadband, enterprise mobility and education
technology.

   Blumenthal comes to Digit Wireless from TELUS Communications, one
of Canada's leading telecommunications companies where he was
responsible for developing and managing the company's portfolio of
consumer services including mobile voice and data services, IP
television, broadband and local telephony. During his tenure at TELUS,
he was instrumental in launching the world's first mobile device
enhanced with Fastap. Witnessing the positive effects Fastap had on
Data ARPU and the mobile user experience, TELUS then proceeded, under
his direction, to launch two additional Fastap devices from two of
Digit Wireless' licensees, LG Electronics and ZTE.
