1. Investments have been valued on a bid price basis.

2. Revenue items included in net asset value, with dividends payable deducted
on the ex-dividend date.

3. The undiluted net asset value above has been calculated based on 105,124,598
ordinary shares, excluding 1,696,092 shares currently held in Treasury.
