Bethesda-Based Company Joins Elite Group of Companies Meeting Standard for IT
Service Management

BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Catapult Technology, Ltd. (Catapult), a
leading Information Technology (IT) contractor to the federal government, has
received ISO 20000 certification, joining only a handful of U.S. companies
that have achieved the top international standard for IT service management.

ISO 20000 is important because it provides concrete evidence that Catapult
applies best practices to the delivery of IT services to its clients. It is a
major milestone that underscores the company's continuing emphasis on quality
as a corporate tenet, especially as the federal government increasingly favors
companies that hold ISO 20000 certification in the contract award process.

"Catapult is a success because of our people, and it's our people who have
brought this top certification to Catapult," said Randy J. Slager, founder and
CEO of Catapult. "In addition to our employees, achieving this level
certification was possible through the commitment of our customer and
subcontractors."

Slager added, "More than 80 percent of our staff performs the services
included in ISO 20000 standards, and this allows us to continue our work on
comprehensive, innovative projects for our federal customers."

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide body
based in Geneva, Switzerland. With 162 member countries, its purpose is to
promulgate worldwide proprietary industrial and commercial standards. ISO
20000, focused on IT service management, promotes the adoption of an
integrated approach to delivering services meeting business and customer
needs, and also sets best practices for service management. It supersedes the
earlier British standard, BS 15000.

Catapult previously achieved certification for ISO 9001, which deals with
Quality Management Systems; and CMMI® Level 3, which focuses on software and
systems development.
