products, is realizing productivity improvements from its implementation of a
Symon real-time digital communications, business activity monitoring solution.
The Symon system has been in place for one year, and in conjunction with a new
back office labor management system has helped The Container Store's employees
to visually communicate workloads and completion rates in several areas
throughout the distribution center improving performance and reducing
overtime.
Each of the innovative products found in The Container Store's locations
coast to coast is received, processed and shipped from a 725,000 square foot
Distribution Center, located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The

idea of their performance or the status of order fulfillment. With the Symon

when the Symon wallboards indicate they may fall behind schedule for the day."
