Tue Dec 1, 2009 12:50pm EST

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(Business Wire)--
Beginning November 30 through December 24, the Dave Thomas Foundation for
Adoption joins forces with Torrid, the fashion retailer for the curvy girl, to
find families for children waiting in foster care.

Torrid, the shopping destination for trendy fashion and denim, is offering their
customers 10% off any purchase of $50.00 or more at locations nationwide and
online at torrid.com when they make a donation of one dollar or more to the Dave
Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Torrid is also providing information to
thousands of their customers, encouraging them to make a difference in the life
of a child through foster care adoption.

"We are so pleased to work with Torrid and their customers," said Rita Soronen,
executive director of the Foundation. "Together, we can find homes for the
129,000 children who linger in the United States foster care system waiting for
an adoptive family of their own."

"Torrid is thrilled to work with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption this
holiday season. We can`t think of anything more important than finding forever
families for the thousands of children in the US who are waiting for a
permanent, loving family," said Chris Daniel, Torrid President. "Torrid
customers have demonstrated their incredible generosity many times in the past
and we know that they will be excited to take up this important cause. We hope
that by combining our customer`s love of fashion with her love of giving we can
truly make a positive difference in the lives of many families this year."
