Family Programs
KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(Business Wire)--
Financial problems are a serious concern for military leadership
because money troubles at home can affect a service member's
performance. As a way to help military families take control of their
money and provide a stable financial environment at home, Pioneer
Services has published a new book: "Military Spouse Finance Guide:
Financial Advice for the Homefront."

The "Military Spouse Finance Guide" covers a wide range of topics,
provides real-world examples, and is full of easy-to-follow financial
tips. The book includes forewords by Sylvia Kidd, director, Family
Programs, Association of the United States Army (AUSA), and U.S. Army
Command Sergeant Major Roger Stradley, (Ret), founder of USA Cares,
Inc.

In addition, Pioneer Services has published an article, "Preparing
for Financial Emergencies," that details the importance of, and how to
set up, an emergency savings account. The article is the fourteenth
chapter of the book, and can be found at the Learning Center on
PioneerMilitaryLoans.com.

"We wanted to recognize Military Spouse Appreciation Day on May 9
in a special way. This book is part of that effort," said Karen Von
Der Bruegge, chief marketing officer for Pioneer Services. "Military
spouses are the unsung heroes, taking care of the family and the
finances during their husbands' or wives' deployment. We wanted to
provide them with a comprehensive guide that covers a variety of
financial topics, as well as act as a resource for every military
family. We think it's a great way to show our appreciation for all of
the families that have sacrificed so much for our country."

All proceeds from the sale of the book will benefit a military
non-profit organization: the Association of the United States Army's
(AUSA) Family Programs. Pioneer Services joined forces with AUSA
because of a shared commitment to improving the quality of life for
military families.
