Delta Offers Discounted US Helicopter Service Between JFK and Manhattan for
Domestic Economy Class Customers

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Customers traveling in Economy Class
on Delta Air Lines' (NYSE:DAL) domestic flights to or from its hub at New York's
John F. Kennedy International Airport for a limited time can enjoy a discounted
one-way fare of $45* for US Helicopter Airport Shuttle Service. (*Additional
taxes/fees/restrictions apply; additional details are listed below.)

This promotional offer is valid for tickets purchased after Sept. 1 for travel
through Oct. 31, 2008 and is a savings off of the published fare of $159*.
Complimentary** US Helicopter service between JFK and Manhattan is available
year-round to Delta BusinessElite customers. (**Additional

Delta's on-the-go travelers enjoy unrivaled benefits from US Helicopter service

 * Eight-minute(1) travel time between New York City Heliports in
   Midtown and Downtown Manhattan and JFK, with flights operating 27
   times daily;
 * Federally regulated TSA security clearance at NYC Heliports before
   arriving at JFK for departing flights; customers land inside the
   secure area of JFK, which means TSA security screening is not
   required again at the airport;

Fares available at delta.com. Tickets cost $25 more if purchased from Delta over
the phone, or at a Delta ticket counter, and this amount is nonrefundable.
Tickets cost $25 more if purchased from USH over the phone.

If adding a helicopter segment to an itinerary which has already been ticketed,
the fare must be recalculated from origin to destination including the heliport
(JRB, TSS) and the ticket must be reissued subject to any applicable fees or
charges. Seats are limited. Code share flights are eligible when booked as a
