Hong Kong Highpower Technology to Report Third Quarter 2009 Financial Results on Thursday, November 12

Hong Kong Highpower Technology, Inc. (NYSE Amex: HPJ), a developer,
manufacturer and marketer of nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) and lithium-ion
(Li-ion) batteries and related products, today announced that it will
release financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009,
on Thursday, November 12, 2009. The Company will host a conference call
that day at 8:00 a.m. Pacific time/11:00 a.m. Eastern time to discuss
those results and answer questions.
