David Carradine to Perform at Conscious Life Expo

LOS ANGELES--(Business Wire)--
Renowned actor and musician David Carradine has announced that he and his band,
David Carradine & the Cosmic Rescue Team will appear at the Seventh Annual
Conscious Life Expo in Los Angeles next month for a special pre-Valentine`s Day
concert in the La Jolla Ballroom at the LAX Hilton in Los Angeles on Friday,
February 13th at 7:00 p.m.

The concert, presented by Red Velvet Media, marks a rare Southern California
appearance by the band, which features Carradine and the Cosmic Rescue Team, the
band also known as Sharon Benson`s Soul Dogs, whose sound has been described as
"pure Americana -- a rhythmic synthesis of different flavors from country to
rockin' blues to spacious ballads, all spiced with classical overtones and
psychedelic implications."

Though known primarily for his film and television roles such as Bill in Quentin
Tarantino`s "Kill Bill" films and as Grasshopper in the hit series "Kung Fu,"
Carradine`s musical background is extensive and diverse and has frequently
crossed over into his acting performances, perhaps most notably with his
portrayal of Woody Guthrie in Hal Ashby's classic film "Bound for Glory."

Carradine will also be speaking about "Spirituality in the Arts" at the
Conscious Life Expo on Sunday, Feb 15th at 2-3:30pm. He will share his own
experiences with attendees and discuss how throughout history, people have used
art and music as a means to express their spirituality heal our bodies and our
communities.
