New boat models are not a sign of "mid-life crisis" for the 40-year old
Cigarette Racing Team. The iconic powerboat manufacturer maintains its enduring
good looks, pure performance and reliability.
Top Fish Open
The next evolution of Cigarette`s center console line-the Top Fish Open,
accommodates the preference for open space over a cuddy cabin with options for
fishing, eating, seating and sunning. The aft bench, cockpit seating and full
stand-up head, are enhanced by more front wrap-around seating, storage and an
option for a table or sun pad.
A fiberglass frame helm station covers a drawer refrigerator while open bench
seating leaves room for storage while an anodized frame supports a durable
fiberglass T-Top. Options for stern seating with or without a live fish well,
rod and bait holders, coolers, fish lockers and storage make this a serious
fishing boat. The show model is painted in Mercedes AMG Obsidian black metallic
with a silver logo. White upholstery with black accents provide for easy
maintenance while four Mercury Verados ensure reaching favorite fishing spots
smoothly, comfortably and in record time!
The Grand Sport II
The Grand Sport II offers the same roomy and feature-laden cockpit, cabin and
large sun pad as the original Grand Sport, but also has a new deck and
aerodynamic styling that makes it ever-more a Cigarette. The 2007 Grand Sport
pampered to the Baby Boomer Cigarette customer who wanted more room and luxury.
The 49 Grand Sport II, with an expanded 10` beam, a full berth, head/shower and
creature comforts in the detailed cabin, accommodates more people, accessories,
storage, power and propulsion options.
While maintaining 6` head room in the cabin the GS II deck has been raised for
ease of movement in and out of the boat and the new windscreen offers excellent
visibility and wind-protection. The extended transom of the Grand Sport creates
a large sunbathing pad and also provides easy access to the boat from the dock.
Various seating options can be customized for boating preferences, but comfort,
top-quality upholstery, and room to move about the boat remain Cigarette staples
of design. Newly added features include a Cigarette-designed and custom-made
muffler exhaust system and a Cummins Onan 5 KW Generator.
The 49`s handling is enhanced by big power options, with new hull tooling for
Arneson Surface Drives and Cummins Quantum Series Diesel 715 twin engines. These
Mercury SmartCraft enabled, turbocharged and sea water-cooled powerplants,
provide reduced drag, quicker acceleration and improved fuel economy. This
Cigarette holds true to its performance heritage.
The Grand Sport II paint features official Ferrari paints, Nero Daytona Black
metallic, Grigio Ingrid gold metallic and highlights of Fiorano Rosso metallic
red.
