2008 International CES Returns to Vegas; Media Events Open Tomorrow; Show Floor Opens Monday

  State of the CE Industry Address and CES Unveiled Kick Off World's
                 Largest Consumer Technology Tradeshow

WHAT:     The 2008 International CES returns to Las Vegas and press
           are invited to the preview events that kick off tomorrow.
           This industry tradeshow, open to participants in the CE
           industry, runs January 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention
           Center (LVCC) and Sands Expo and Convention Center/The
           Venetian.

PRE-SHOW: Media events at the 2008 International CES(R) begin
           Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Sands/Venetian.

          -- 2-3 p.m., Steve Koenig, senior manager of industry
           analysis for CEA(R), the producer of the International CES,
           and Shawn DuBravac, CEA economist, will present a State of
           the CE Industry address highlighting new CEA market
           research and 2007 year-end industry analysis. The
           presentation is in the Sands/Venetian, Bellini Ballroom
           2105.

          -- 4-7 p.m., CES Unveiled: The Official Press Event of the
           International CES kicks off the evening with more than 65
           exhibitor tabletop previews and displays. CES Unveiled will
           be held in the Marco Polo Ballroom, on level one at the
           Sands/Venetian. Refreshments will be served.

          Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA will be available for
           media interviews during this event.

WHERE:    CES press rooms are located in the LVCC, Room S229 and at
           the Sands/Venetian, Room 203. Saturday media events all
           take place at the Sands/Venetian and are open to all
           credentialed CES press and analysts. Media may register or
           obtain their badges in the LVCC or Sands press rooms.

WHEN:     The 2008 International CES runs through January 10. Press
