Kroger Recalling Corn Puff Snack

CINCINNATI, Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Kroger Co. said today it is
recalling packages of Kroger Hulless Corn Puff Poppers - Extreme Butter
(artificially flavored) in 8-ounce packages with a "sell by" date of Nov 08 08
244 A or B. Items in these packages may contain milk not listed on the label.
Customers should return the product to stores for a refund or replacement.
    People who are allergic to milk run the risk of a serious or
life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been
reported. For most consumers, there is no safety issue with the product.
    The recall includes stores under Kroger and the following names: Baker's,
City Market, Dillons, Fry's, Hilander, Jay C, King Soopers, Owen's, Pay Less
and Scott's. Stores involved are in the following states: Alabama, Arizona,
Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan,
Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina,
Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
