and cell phones.
Consumers can drop off their obsolete consumer electronics at the ease

REI, a national outdoor retail co-op dedicated to inspiring, educating and
outfitting its members and the community for a lifetime of outdoor adventure
and stewardship, is partnering with ease e-waste, a California EPA certified
company specializing in the collection and recycling of electronic waste.
Additionally, businesses such as Oce North America are sponsoring this joint
effort to increase awareness about the importance of recycling and provide an
easy and cost-free way for consumers to properly dispose of their electronics.
Most consumers recognize that the effects of hazardous materials in
electronics can best be combated by recycling. The act of recycling prevents
the potential contamination of water resources and helps preserve the earth.
The public's desire to participate in the responsible disposal of their
consumer electronics has been answered with e-waste collection events
sponsored by REI and ease e-waste.
Companies with a large number of items to dispose should contact ease
e-waste at 1-866-548-8100 to arrange electronics recycling.
