Chef Rick Bayless and Bohemia Beer Connect Online to Help Adults Plan Seasonal Celebrations

Wed Nov 11, 2009 2:00pm EST
CHICAGO, IL, Nov 11 (MARKET WIRE) --
Rick Bayless, award-winning chef, and Bohemia, the premium Mexican beer,
have joined forces this fall to launch a seasonal Web site designed to
provide consumers with tips and ideas to organize their ideal party.
www.FronteraFiesta.com, which launched today with a Thanksgiving theme,
will be updated with new content throughout the year focusing on holiday
and seasonal celebrations.

"I am always looking for new ways to engage and dialogue with my fans,
enticing them to share my zeal for cooking and entertaining. To this end,
together with Bohemia, I'm happy to offer www.FronteraFiesta.com as a fun
and helpful resource that will not only teach them how to create some of
my favorite dishes, but provide them with everything else they need to
make their celebrations memorable," said Chef Rick Bayless, who earlier
this year nabbed the title of Bravo's "Top Chef Master."

At its launch, the Web site will feature a menu of festive and
easy-to-prepare recipes featuring Chef Rick's particular Mexican touch,
including a Bohemia-Brined Turkey with Red Chile Adobo, Chile-Glazed Sweet
Potatoes and Bohemia Apple Lime Cider, all of which can be prepared with
his own line of Frontera salsas, sauces and more. Additionally, visitors
to the site will be presented with unique at-home entertainment
suggestions and the opportunity to dialogue with Chef Rick through his
blog, Blogueria.

"As Mexico's most premium beer, Bohemia is very excited to be part of Chef
Bayless' efforts to share his passion for Mexican tradition and culinary
superiority, traits that are intrinsic of our beer brand," said Carlos
Boughton, brand director for Bohemia. "The upcoming holiday season is an
excellent opportunity to celebrate responsibly with friends 21-and-older
and provides a great platform for Bohemia to continue its long-standing
relationship with Rick."

    About Bohemia

Considered one of the finest beers in the industry since its launch at the
turn of the 20th century by Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma (CCM), Bohemia
is an authentic Mexican beer made especially for connoisseurs who
appreciate its distinctive and impeccable taste.

Named after the Czech region, one of the world's most recognized brewing
areas, it is a full, rich beer that is almost wine-like in its earthy
complexity. The deep but subtle aromas of fruit, roasted barley and
minerals give way to flavors that have almost a cocoa-like bitterness
paired with sweet hints of vanilla. Its lively carbonation is perfectly
balanced with its overall richness. Bohemia's label design and golden neck
and cap, highlight its aspect of exclusivity and elegance.

Distributed by Heineken USA, the brand prides itself on its quality and
authenticity.

    About FEMSA/Heineken USA

In 2004, Heineken USA and FEMSA Cerveza reached an agreement that made
Heineken USA the sole and exclusive importer, marketer and seller of
FEMSA's beer brands in the United States. Under the terms of the
agreement, Heineken USA assumed responsibility for the marketing, sales
and distribution of the beer brands Dos Equis, Tecate, Sol, Carta Blanca,
Bohemia, and Tecate Light across the United States. In April 2007, an
extended ten-year agreement was finalized between Heineken USA and FEMSA,
which became effective Jan. 1, 2008.

Heineken USA Inc., the nation's premier beer importer, is a subsidiary of
Heineken International BV, which is the world's most international brewer.
Besides the FEMSA portfolio, brands imported into the U.S. include:

Founded in 1890, FEMSA is the largest integrated beverage company in Latin
America with a portfolio of leading beer and soft drink brands. Its
