management software, announced today that commercial real estate firm Ensemble
Real Estate has selected Yardi Voyager as the property management and accounting
platform for its 120 properties in four western U.S. states.
Yardi Voyager centralizes all of the company`s property management and
accounting functions in one platform, allowing real-time access to information
and eliminating data transfers with third-party systems. As a Web-based
solution, Yardi Voyager is accessible to users at all of Ensemble`s locations.
A principal benefit that Ensemble will gain from the integration of financial
and property information in Yardi Voyager is automated expense recovery
calculation, the process by which the company collects estimated common area
maintenance costs from tenants, then assesses a percentage of the actual costs
to each tenant. "With Voyager, we no longer have to draw information from
disparate sources. We expect to complete these calculations in half the time we
currently need. Completing this process faster improves service to our tenants
and gives us more time to focus on our core business," said Sandra Paquin,
