Japan Servo to Be Renamed Nidec Servo Corporation

KYOTO, Japan, June 22, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Corporation (NYSE:NJ) today
announced that the shareholders of Japan Servo Co., Ltd., one of its listed
subsidiaries (the "Company," Tokyo Stock Exchange Second Section: 6585),
approved a proposal to change the Company's name to "Nidec Servo Corporation" at
the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company held on June 18, 2008.
The name change, designed to clearly identify the Company as a Nidec branded
subsidiary, will take effect on October 1, 2008.

At the subsequent Board meeting, the Company resolved to move its corporate
headquarters to 3-93, Aioi, Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture 376-0011 Japan,
effective June 18, 2008.
