Lincoln Memorial Stages 30th Anniversary of One of the Nation's Largest Easter
Sunrise Services, with Over 5000 in Attendance Each Year.

    WASHINGTON, March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- A Washington Tradition for 30 years
-- On Easter Sunday morning, March 23, 2008, over 5000 people will gather at
the Lincoln Memorial for one of the nation's largest Sunrise Services, hosted
by Capital Church of Vienna, Virginia, Pastor Amos Dodge.

    At 6:30am, as the sun begins to rise over the Capitol dome, the mall will
ring with sounds of celebration as Pastor Dodge leads those in attendance, in
the hope-filled proclamation and celebration of Easter's message.
    "This is not an event we sponsor but an assignment we have to our city,
nation and world," says Pastor Dodge.  "To joyfully, powerfully and boldly
proclaim that 'Jesus Christ is Risen!'"
    The annual interdenominational service will include worship, live
orchestra and choir.
    Those attending are encouraged to dress comfortably.  A coat or a blanket
is suggested for the often brisk morning.  Directed parking provided.
