Wed Jul 16, 2008 9:04pm EDT
OKLAHOMA CITY, July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- HotelBrokerOne announced today the
opening of a new West Coast office located in Los Angeles, California.
Industry veteran Leigh-Anne Ashton was designated Managing Broker and Senior
Vice President. Long time hospitality insider Harry Hashim was retained as
Senior Analyst and Hospitality Financing Consultant.
Peter Holmes, Chief Operating Officer of HotelBrokerOne stated,
"Leigh-Anne already has a lifetime of experience and an absolutely amazing
grasp of the hospitality market. With her contacts and abilities we expect our
Los Angles office will be one of the top producing hotel brokerage offices in
the nation."
Ashton brings with her over a decade of professional sales experience.
Most recently, she was integral in the formation of Aries Hospitality
Investments, Inc., a boutique brokerage and investment firm for which she
served as Vice President and Broker Associate. During that time, she was
successful in identifying lodging opportunities for national clients,
providing client services from acquisitions and dispositions, consulting on
brand repositioning and market analysis, to assisting with hotel loan
financing. Prior to her position with Aries, Ashton was a top executive with a
national software sales firm catering to financial institutions.
Hashim, a well known hospitality veteran, also formerly of Aries, has
experience at virtually every level of the industry and will join the
HotelBrokerOne team as a senior hotel analyst. "With Harry's unparalleled
reputation and profound knowledge of the hotel industry, we expect he will be
an immediate and strong contributor in the area of analysis and consulting,"
said Holmes. "We welcome Mrs. Ashton and Mr. Hashim to our HotelBrokerOne
family and look forward to a long and productive relationship."
