According to a leading consumer survey magazine that covered 36,000 readers'
experiences for credit card customer satisfaction; Navy Federal ranked second
out of 21 card issuers, including companies such as Bank of America, Citibank,
HSBC, Capital One, and JP Morgan Chase - which jointly comprise 80 percent of
the credit card market.

With 3 million members and $33 billion in assets Navy Federal consistently
strives to meet the ever-changing needs of its members while providing world
class service. Evidence to this mission is how the credit union grew its
worldwide network of branches by 25% in 2007 alone. "With this expansion, we
are providing greater convenience and service to more of our members wherever
they might live and work," said Cutler Dawson, Navy Federal CEO/President.

Plans are underway to more than double the number of full service branches by
2012. The credit union also grew substantially internally by adding 2,700
employees in 2007 within its call centers and branch offices to maintain
excellent member service. "The talent, expertise, and professionalism of our
employees contribute directly to the success of our organization," said
Dawson.

Navy Federal is the largest credit union in the world with over $33 billion in
assets and 3 million members. Navy Federal has 148 branch offices and 365
proprietary ATMs located worldwide. The credit union serves all Department of
the Navy (DON) military and civilian personnel, contractors who provide
