The Tauri Group Named One of Washingtonian Magazine's 50 Great Places to Work

Wed Nov 4, 2009 2:38pm EST
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Tauri Group, an analytic
consulting firm that serves homeland security, defense, and space clients, was
named one of Washingtonian magazine's 50 Great Places to Work in the
Washington, DC area.

The Tauri Group was selected as a winner in the "Treated Royally" category.
The article said, "The Tauri Group shares its wealth beyond its staff: It
gives 5% of profits to charity, and every staffer gets one paid day a year to
volunteer. Employees prize the firm's ethics, the open environment where
opinions are freely shared, and work that has an impact on national security."

"Being recognized this year by our employees as one of the 'Great Places to
Work' is an honor for our company," said Carissa Christensen of The Tauri
Group. "The Tauri Group works hard to foster a culture where employees want to
come to work everyday."

This is the sixth time the Washingtonian magazine has chosen Great Places to
Work in the Washington, DC area. The feature dates back to 1999 and is
published every other year. This year's 50 winning workplaces were chosen
after a panel of editors and writers reviewed more than 200 companies and more
than 13,000 employee surveys. The final determinations relied heavily on the
scores given by the company's employees.

The Greater Washington Board of Trade and the Washingtonian magazine honored
The Tauri Group and other winners at an awards luncheon at the Ronald Reagan
Building in Washington, DC, on Friday, October 23, 2009.

The Tauri Group, founded by Carissa Bryce Christensen, Cos DiMaggio III, and
Mark V. Herzing, is committed to innovation and excellence. The Tauri Group
supports federal government clients including the Department of Homeland
Security, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and NASA.
