BOY The Dog(TM), a New Worldwide E-Commerce Gateway for Animal Lovers, Teams
With NBA Executive to Launch One-of-a-Kind Web site
African-American owned company joins forces with Houston Rockets' Keith Jones
to deliver a unique online pet community

LOS ANGELES, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Looking for a great place for animal
lovers? Thinking about a little "bling bling" for your favorite pet?
Considering whether your pet is Hollywood material? Any of those and countless
other categories will highlight the launch of BOY The Dog(TM)
(http://www.boythedog.com) in what promises to be the hottest virtual
destination for pet owners worldwide.

"BOY," a real life loveable dog, was discovered in the summer of 2007,
when Founder C.C. Alexander II happened upon a litter of Chihuahua/Jack
Russell puppies. He was immediately drawn to a wide-eyed pup, who happened to
be the "personality" of the litter. Once in tow, the puppy would only respond
to "BOY" and so he was named and the idea for BOY The Dog(TM) was soon
developed.
Passionately created and designed from a desire to help support humane
societies worldwide, BOY The Dog(TM) will feature a BOY Blog, a link to the
Rainbow Bridge, pet apparel, music-downloads, custom designed toys as well as
host an interactive link between pet owners across the globe. In collaboration
with longtime friends and business partners Keith Jones, an executive with the
NBA's Houston Rockets, character creator C.C. Alexander II and toy industry
legend Harold A. Nizamian, known as the "Father of Garfield," the idea soon
grew to create a gathering place where like-minded pet owners could
communicate, seek information, discover new product lines and post their
favorite stories and photos of their treasured pets.
Nizamian made Garfield a household name in 43 countries through his plush
toy found clinging to car windows everywhere during the late 1980s. He
founded Timeless Toys in 1998, a company dedicated to producing unique,
high-quality products while maintaining best in class standards of service in
the industry. BOY The Dog LLC will provide a toy plush animal product line,
which will include puppets, slippers and other specialty items.
BOY The Dog(TM) has partnered with TuneTees LLC, which created the first
music-inspired, multi-brand apparel line to combine digital music with
designer T's and apparel. The company recently launched its Doggy TuneTees(TM)
line as well as the newly created lifestyle brand with Beachaholic Records.
This will allow online purchases of designer pet apparel and downloadable
music. A portion of the proceeds will benefit MusiCares, the non-profit arm of
the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS), which is devoted
to helping musicians in need.
"By partnering with Timeless Toys and TuneTees, we have created an online
community that delivers the finest pet related e-commerce and provides an
interactive site allowing animal enthusiasts worldwide to celebrate their
experiences through photo displays and many other activities," said Jones.
Music inspired by "BOY" and a record album will soon be released. A
preview can be found on the site, with two songs being featured from the
album: BOY's theme song, "Choose Me," and "Underdog." Additional site features
will focus on user-interaction through an online pet photo gallery, a monthly
newsletter for community members and the BOY Fan Club. These features will
give pet owners a way to interact with others and allow them the ability to
build communities around similar interests and concerns for their pets.
Perhaps the most treasured page on the site is the one assigned to the
Rainbow Bridge, where pet owners who have been saddened by the loss of their
loyal companion can share their photos and memories online with those who have
suffered the same loss. "We know that animal owners are passionate about their
pets and consider them an integral part of their family," continued Jones. "We
are providing a gathering place for them to share their love and memories
through photo displays and online discussions with people from all corners of
the globe who know the strength and longevity of a pet's unconditional love."
