Mpire Adds Top comScore Exec and Industry Veteran Will Hodgman to Board of
Directors; Expands Sales and Business Development Teams
Mpire establishes sales presence in New York
SEATTLE, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Mpire Corporation, the market-leading ad
optimization technology company, today announced that Will Hodgman, the
executive vice president of comScore, Inc.'s international operations, has
joined Mpire's Board of Directors. The company also announced the addition of
United Online and Hearst veteran Sandy Streim as vice president of east coast
sales, and former Real Networks general manager Andy Terentjev as vice
president of business development. Both are newly created positions, and
Streim and Terentjev will report to Mpire's Chief Revenue Officer Kirby
Winfield.
"Mpire is expanding its management team and Board to fuel the company's rapid
growth and meet the increasing demand for Mpire's products and services," said
Winfield. "We're proud to welcome Will Hodgman, whose deep background in data
and analytics will help our flagship AdXpose campaign verification solution
enable advertisers and agencies to buy safely online, achieve greater campaign
ROI, and extract more quality and value from their ad network and exchange
relationships."
With more than 15 years in the advertising and digital measurement space, Will
Hodgman is one of the industry's foremost experts on data, measurement and
predictive analytics. Prior to comScore, Hodgman co-founded the mobile
measurement firm M:Metrics, where he served as president and CEO until its
acquisition by comScore in 2008. Prior to M:Metrics, Hodgman was president and
CEO of Sightward, Inc., a predictive analytics company. He also served as
executive vice president of Nielsen/NetRatings, where he was responsible for
the company's digital measurement products, sales, marketing, measurement
science and business development. Before joining Nielsen/NetRatings, Hodgman
was president of measurement at Jupiter Media Metrix, which he joined after
the company acquired AdRelevance, a company for which he was founder,
president and CEO. Early in his career, Hodgman held executive positions at
the Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), where he managed advertising for
some of the world's most well-known brands - Campbell Soup, Gatorade, Coors,
Mitsubishi Motors and IBM.
Winfield continues, "The addition of Sandy Streim as vice president of east
coast sales gives Mpire a bona fide presence in New York City and a greater
capacity to build agency and brand relationships for our AdXpose and Mpire
Network products. Complementing this function, Andy Terentjev will solidify
Mpire's strategic publisher and exchange relationships as the company expands
its traffic footprint and migrates from a self-serve utility vendor to a full
service ad network and technology operation."
Prior to joining Mpire, Streim served as sales director, eastern region, for
Allrecipes.com, a Reader's Digest company and the Internet's largest online
food and entertaining community and mom social site, where he was responsible
for all east coast and midwest sales. Previously, Streim was director of east
coast sales for Myxer, the largest mobile digital content website. He also
served as director of business development and later senior director, east
region sales for United Online. He began his career as director of online
services and strategic development at Hearst Corporation.
Andy Terentjev has more than 15 years of traditional and digital media
experience having held senior business development and sales positions with
start-ups to large, publicly traded companies. Prior to joining Mpire, Andy
was senior vice president of business development for Alerts.com, responsible
for securing content and distribution partnerships with publishers. Before
joining Alerts.com, Andy spent five years at RealNetworks - first as general
manager, Latin America, responsible for Real's system software sales, and
later as general manager, business development, for Rhapsody and Real Player.
Andy was responsible for securing Rhapsody client distribution with all HP
consumer PCs, having replaced the iTunes client. Andy began his business
career as a banker with the Bank of Boston, financing media and entertainment
companies, and also worked for music legend Chris Blackwell, founder of Island
Records, in various business development and acquisition roles.
