U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu to Address New Jersey Clean Energy

'Clean Energy Now' To be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center, October

NEWARK, N.J. - The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) invites members
of the media to attend Clean Energy Now, the fifth annual New Jersey Clean
Energy Conference and Leadership Awards. Steven Chu, Secretary of the United
States Department of Energy, will provide the keynote address following New
Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine's welcoming remarks at the opening session of
this year's Conference.
More than 800 attendees are expected at the two-day Conference, which will
present information about energy saving solutions, the federal government's
stimulus funding, the Governor's economic stimulus plans, green job growth and
clean energy innovations. The 2009 Clean Energy Leadership Awards will also
be presented.
