WHAT: LIVESTRONG.COM, the new online destination for health, fitness
and lifestyle, today announced the winner of the
LIVESTRONG.COM "Dare To Share Your Story" Contest.

WHO: Contestants from across the country uploaded original videos
describing how they dared to make a healthy or positive change
in their life or the life of someone else and posted it as a
video response to Lance Armstrong's call out video on the
YouTube website. The top 10 finalists were announced last
week. More than 81,000 people viewed the video entries and
votes were cast to determine the overall winner of the "Dare
        to Share Your Story" Contest.

WHEN: Today, LIVESTRONG.COM is pleased to announce that Michael
Hallstrom's video highlighting the story of 24 year-old Zach
DeRidder is the winner of the contest. Inspired by Armstrong's
own battle with cancer and determination to raise cancer
awareness, Zach shares his story that chronicles his ongoing
battle with a rare and inoperable form of liver cancer.
Featuring a montage of pictures and video footage, Zach
narrates his experience of taking on his disease and fighting
back. While undergoing chemotherapy treatment, Zach trained
for and participated in six road races, eight triathlons, one
duathalon and one century bike ride. During the week-long
voting period, his video received the highest number of votes
and his entry was viewed more than 31,000 times, with the
LIVESTRONG.COM community posting messages of support to Zach.

WHERE: The winning entry along with a congratulatory video message
from Lance Armstrong can be viewed on the homepage at
        www.livestrong.com.

WHY: The purpose of the "Dare To Share Your Story" Contest is to
share stories of bravery in daring to overcome challenges to
make a change in one's life and to serve as an inspiration to
others who are looking to do the same. Zach will receive a
Trek bicycle autographed by Lance Armstrong from Lance's shop,
        Mellow Johnny's.

"We all have challenges to overcome, and in this video, Zach
shows us how to face difficulties with courage, strength,
optimism, and hope. As his friend, I'm ecstatic to see this
exposure on LIVESTRONG.COM raise awareness about cancer and
inspire the best in all of us to strive to rise above life's
challenges with tenacity and a big smile," said Michael
Hallstrom of the winning video entry.
