Statement:  Dow Corning Clarifies Incorrect Reports About Manufacturing

MANAMA, Bahrain, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Dow Corning has issued the following
statement in response to published reports regarding its manufacturing
expansion plans: The company has no current plans to build a manufacturing
facility in the Middle East, however the company did establish a Middle East
headquarters and commercial entity in Manama, Bahrain last week.
