Game Debuted March 13; One Ticket Wins $8.26 Million Jackpot Prize
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., May 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- One ticket matched seven of
the eleven winning numbers, 02-04-09-12-17-19-24-28-41-42-53, in the May 29
Super 7 drawing. Friday night's winning jackpot is worth $8.26 million
annuity, less 25 percent federal withholding.
This is the twenty-third drawing of the new Super 7 game and the first jackpot
prize to be awarded. The jackpot starts at $1 million annuity and continues
to roll until won.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials cannot announce the identity of Friday's Super
7 jackpot winner until a prize has been claimed and a ticket validated. The
Pennsylvania Lottery encourages the holder of a winning ticket to sign the
back of the ticket, contact a financial adviser, and then contact Pennsylvania
Lottery Headquarters, (717) 702-8146.
Super 7 jackpots must be claimed by presenting a winning ticket at
Pennsylvania Lottery Headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of
the Lottery's seven regional offices located throughout the commonwealth.
Claims may be filed at Headquarters Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4
p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at regional Lottery offices.
The Super 7 jackpot returns to a $1 million annuity and estimated $490,000
cash value for the Tuesday, June 2, drawing. Live, televised Super 7 drawings
are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 6:59 p.m., along with The Daily
Number, BIG 4, Quinto, and CASH 5.
How to play Super 7: Players receive one play for $2. Players select seven
numbers from 1 to 77, or they may elect the quick-pick, computer-selection
method. To win the jackpot - which starts at $1 million annuity and grows
until it is hit - players must match seven of the 11 numbers drawn; the pool
of numbers available to play ranges from 1 to 77. Odds of winning the jackpot
prize are 1-in-7,287,298; overall odds of winning any prize are 1-in-20.2.
