MINNEAPOLIS--(Business Wire)--Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited, fully online

the scholarships to these dedicated individuals."

Capella's project management specializations provide a strong
foundation in project management that may be applied to a wide variety
of industries, including business, information technology, insurance,
financial services, engineering, and health care. Capella's
scholar/practitioner faculty engage project management students in
real-world projects and research, and work to ensure that curriculum
are aligned with leading project management industry associations like
the Project Management Institute (PMI). Capella's project management
curriculum is designed around A Guide to the Project Management Body
of Knowledge (PMBOK(R) Guide), an internationally recognized standard.
Capella also offers one of the few PhD-level programs in project
management; only 12 exist worldwide, according to PMI.

Capella selected the scholarship recipients based on several
criteria, including a description of why they are pursuing advanced
education in project management and how will it help them achieve
their goals, professional successes and obstacles overcome, and past
professional or educational experience in project management.

The $10,000 awards will be evenly distributed over eight quarters,
beginning with the winter quarter of 2008.
