USC School of Dentistry & Edge Medical Technologies, Inc. Work Together to Help Californians in Need

Thu Nov 12, 2009 4:51pm EST
LOS ANGELES--(Business Wire)--
The end of adult Denti-Cal services earlier this year left many disadvantaged
Californians unable to find affordable dental care. And with the state of the
economy, charitable dental organizations are finding it nearly impossible to
serve all of those who need vital dental services.

Fortunately, USC School of Dentistry alumni can help the USC Mobile Dental
Clinic serve Californians in need simply by purchasing new equipment for their
own practice. With each purchase of an airBUG e1 intraoral isolation device or
refill kit, Edge Medical Technologies, Inc. will make a significant donation to
the Mobile Dental Clinic through the airBUG Pollination Program.

This program is a great way for USC dentists to give back while getting the
latest technology for themselves, said Brian P. Black, CEO and President of Edge
Medical Technologies.

"This is a win-win situation for both USC School of Dentistry alumni that want
the best for their practice and the USC students and faculty members working so
hard to help people throughout California," Black said.

As part of this unique agreement, Edge Medical Technologies will make a $100
donation when School of Dentistry alumni purchase the airBUG e1 Operatory Kit or
a $5 donation with the purchase of a Refill Kit.

The USC Mobile Dental Clinic, started in 1968, travels throughout Southern and
Central California, providing more than $1 million in free dental care for
thousands of patients each year. USC`s five-vehicle fleet has the capacity to
provide all types of oral health services, from checkups and cleanings to
extractions, restorations and other major procedures.

For more information on the airBUG e1 and participating in the Pollination
Program, visit http://www.air-bug.com/ or call (866) 979-3343. The USC School of
Dentistry and its Mobile Dental Clinic affiliates neither endorse the purchase
of, nor the use of, the airBUG e1 Operatory Kit or Refill Kit.
