DUBLIN--(Business Wire)--
Research and Markets
(http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/6b4d9f/installed_capacity) has
announced the addition of the "Installed Capacity of Wind Power Units in China,
2008" report to their offering.

China (ex-Taiwan) installed more than 5,130 wind-power units in 2008, with the
newly-increased capacity of 6,246MW, up 89% from 3,304MW, the newly-installed
capacity of wind power in 2007. The total wind power installed in China
ex-Taiwan was more than 11,600 units in 2008, with the total capacity of
12,153MW, located in 24 provinces, which are three provinces more than a year
ago, with Chongqing, Jiangxi and Yunnan as the new members. Among the 24, four
provinces each had more than 1,000MW of installed wind power, and they are Inner
Mongolia, Liaoning, Hebei, and Jilin. Since the total installed capacity of wind
power in 2007 was 5,906MW, the annual increase rate of cumulative installed wind
power was 106% in 2008, during which about 12bn KWh of wind power was estimated
to be fed into the national power grid.
