123 Refills Announces US Franchise Program

Wed Jan 23, 2008 4:50pm EST
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- 123 Refills Inc., a worldwide leading
remanufacturer and retailer of ink/toner cartridges, announced the launch of a
new program to sell franchises in North America. The retail store franchise
will offer aftermarket ink and toner cartridges, refill services and other
imaging consumables at substantial savings to the consumer in an eco-friendly
way.
"We've been developing our set of specialized services for our franchise
operation over the past several years," said Dr. Dimitris Constantinou,
founder and CEO of 123 Refills Inc., who left the medical profession to make
123 Refills the leader it is today. "We've successfully launched a franchise
operation in Europe, and we're now ready for our expansion into North
America."
123 Refills started out in 2002, and quickly grew to be a leading brand in
the industry. With an impressive team of industry, marketing and management
experts, and an extensive supply chain network, the foundations of 123 Refills
make for one of the most vertically integrated companies in the industry. The
123 Refills brand has significantly contributed to the rapid growth of this
market by selling over a million cartridges and refills through its worldwide
network, and successfully franchising its retail store program over 20 times
worldwide.
"The on-going success of 123 Refills Inc. is due to our focus on offering
superior quality products and substantial savings through a unique marketing
approach. However it's our commitment to world-class customer service that
further sets us apart in the consumer's mind," states Lolla Elkobaitry,
President of 123 Refills Inc.
The program, developed with the help of iFranchise Group and DLA-Piper,
will initially be rolled out in CA. "The 123 Refills concept could easily
expand nationally right away," according to Mark Siebert, CEO of the
iFranchise Group. "But the main goal of 123 Refills is to ensure the success
of the franchisee -- and so they are taking a more conservative approach to
expansion initially."
Siebert believes this is a solid franchise program, one of the many he's
seen in over 20 years of franchise consulting. "Not only does this program
capitalize on the superior health of the ink and toner industry, but it has
the support of an established organization behind it," he said.
