USA Film Festival Hosts Dallas' Official Oscar Night(R) America Party Celebrating the 80th Academy Awards(R)

  DALLAS, TX, Jan 22 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
 The prestige and glamour of Hollywood is coming to Dallas on Oscar Night. 
Residents of Dallas can experience the excitement of the 80th Annual Academy
Awards Presentation on Sunday, February 24, 2008, at Dallas' only
Academy-sanctioned Oscar Night America party, hosted by the USA Film Festival. 
The Dallas party is one of 52 official parties, sanctioned by the Academy of
Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, that will be held across the country on
Oscar Night.

    Presented by and benefiting the year-round programs of the USA Film
Festival,
the Dallas Oscar Night celebration will be held at the BRAND NEW Studio Movie
Grill, 11170 N. Central Expressway at Royal Lane in Dallas and serve as one
of their Grand Opening events.  The Awards telecast begins at 7:00pm CST
with a half-hour red carpet arrivals segment.  Doors will open at 6:00pm.

    Tickets are:  $75, $50, and $35 (buffet dinner included).

    Dallas Oscar Night America partygoers will watch the Academy Awards telecast
on
a large theater-size screen, courtesy of WFAA Channel 8, the Dallas affiliate
of the ABC Television Network, which broadcasts the Academy Awards
presentation.  ABC and the Academy are cooperating for the 15th year with
local charities to support official Oscar Night viewing parties throughout the
country and this year marks the 12th year that the Dallas party has been
officially sanctioned by the Academy.

    "Oscar Night America parties give communities across the country the
opportunity to both share in the excitement of Oscar Night and support worthy
causes," said Academy Executive Director Bruce Davis.  "And it's terrific that
a worldwide television event can help benefit so many charities on a local
level."

    Official Oscar Night America parties last year raised nearly $3 million
forlocal charities in 52 cities.  All money raised stays in the community.

    The Academy will make available to party guests in Dallas the same
officialProgram distributed to guests seated at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood &
Highland Center(R) in Hollywood.  Copies of the 80th Academy Awards
commemorative poster will also be distributed at the Dallas event.

    The Dallas Oscar Night celebration will include a complimentary light
buffet,
live auction, and door-prize chance drawings throughout the evening for donated
prizes including:


--Artwork
--DVDs of top movies and programs
--Home furnishings
--Spa certificates
--Autographed memorabilia
--Collectible wines from Sterling Vineyards
--Dinners, tickets to movies, sporting events and more!

USA Film Festival Board of Directors member and Chairman for the Dallas
