Macerich to Webcast Presentation in Connection With NAREIT's Annual Convention

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Macerich® (NYSE: MAC),
today announced that Art Coppola, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors,
Ed Coppola, President, Tom O'Hern, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer and Tony Grossi, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer will speak in Phoenix, Arizona at an event by invitation
only in connection with the National Association of Real Estate Investment
Trusts (NAREIT) Annual Convention.

The Macerich presentation will be at 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm Mountain Time, on
Tuesday, November 10th.  The live audio-only webcast and presentation slides
will be available online in the Investing section of the Company's website at
www.macerich.com.  An online replay will be available through 11:59pm Mountain
Time, November 24, 2009 at the same location.
