Home BancShares, Inc. to Present at the Sandler O'Neill Conference

CONWAY, Ark., Nov. 5, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Home BancShares, Inc.
(Nasdaq:HOMB), parent company of Centennial Bank, announced that it would
participate as a presenter in the Sandler O'Neill Conference to be held in Palm
Beach, FL on November 11-13, 2009.

Home BancShares, Inc.'s Chairman John Allison and Chief Executive Officer C.
Randall Sims will present at 7:55 a.m. CT (8:55 ET), on Thursday, November 12,
2009, followed by a question and answer session. The conference presentation
will be webcast live, and can be accessed through the Company's website,
www.homebancshares.com, under Investor Relations. Those accessing the webcast
presentation should allow extra time to register and download any necessary
software. A replay will be available for 30 days beginning the following
business day for those who are unable to listen to the live broadcast.
