announced the appointment of Rayasam (Ray) Prasad as Chief Operating
Officer for Global Biologics.

   An experienced leader in the field of technical operations,
production, process development and quality management for vaccines
and biopharmaceuticals, Mr. Prasad has spent more than 25 years in
U.S. and European leadership and management roles at such companies as
Genentech, Chiron Vaccines, Medimmune and Genzyme. Most recently, he
served as Senior Vice President at Reliance Life Sciences, where he
was responsible for Global Quality Management and Regulatory
Compliance.
