The Exclusive Celebration Diamond Launches at Zale's Family of Brands Just in
Time for Proposal Season

IRVING, Texas, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- With the holidays around the
corner, Zale officially launched its Celebration Diamond across all its stores
and online, including its flagship brand Zales Jewelers. This new patented
diamond cut designed to please even the most discerning bride features
remarkable clarity and exceptional color with 102 facets for unprecedented
sparkle and fire. It's no coincidence that the launch coincides with the most
popular time of year for marriage proposals.
"The cornerstone of our business is diamonds and within that realm
Celebration will represent the best of the best from a product performance and
value standpoint. We feel so strongly about Celebration that we've made it the
centerpiece of our merchandise, marketing and store presentation.
Additionally, we have invested in a Web site (celebrationdiamond.com) devoted
solely to educating consumers on its superior brilliance," remarked Neal
Goldberg, chief executive officer for Zale Corporation.
Created to offer customers an exceptional diamond to mark any celebration
in their lives, Celebration combines stunning beauty with everyday simplicity.
The diamond's uniqueness and exclusivity offer an unparalleled experience for
both the gift giver and receiver.
Mary Kwan, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer added,
"We're excited to offer our customers a diamond so brilliant in all the
classic settings. We believe once customers see its fire and light, there will
be no second choice. Once customers enter our stores, they will be instantly
drawn to this amazing collection."
Celebration Diamonds are available in round and princess cuts. Each
Celebration Diamond ring is set in an 18K white gold cathedral mounting with
platinum prongs and "Celebration" inscribed inside the ring. The complete line
offers engagement rings, solitaire earrings, and necklaces. Prices range from
$1,499 to $44,995 depending on the cut, color, clarity and carat size of the
diamond, as well as which piece is selected. The new patented cut is available
exclusively at Zale Corporation.
The Celebration Diamond will be a key part of Zales "Love Rocks"
advertising campaign. In the television spot "String" a young man expresses
his love by asking his girlfriend to marry him with a ball of string and a
ring, capturing love's raw authenticity as well as the beauty of the
Celebration Diamond.
